PARTICIPATION: Participation is open to any rider with a valid 2023 license issued by the ACSI, FCI or a sports promotion association adhering to the CONI agreement, in possession of Health Certificate for cardiovascular intensive sport activity (cycling races/events) and to any foreign rider with a valid 2023 UCI license issued by his or her own national cycling federation, subject to presentation of an ethical certification in English.
Prior to the race, foreign riders without a UCI license must submit a Health Certificate for cardiovascular intensive sport activity (cycling races/events). This certification must not have been issued more than one year before the date of registration for the event.
The event is also open to those without a license; these riders will be issued a one-day ACSI license for a fee of €10. See the “One Day License” section.
Participation in the event is by invitation, and the organizing committee may at any time and at its sole discretion decide whether to accept or reject a rider’s participation or to exclude a rider if the committee believes that the rider’s presence would damage the image of the event.

LICENSE CHECK: Every participant must come to the RACE NUMBER PICKUP area for the license check and race number pickup at the Marathon Bike booth in Attimis (UD), at the following times: Saturday, July 8, from 16.00 to 19.00 pm and Sunday, July 9 from 7:00 to 8:30 am

Individual participants must present their license.

RACE NUMBERS: The race number must be worn on the back of the jersey to enable rider identification. The number on the front of the bike must be attached to the handlebar in such a way as to be visible, at risk of exclusion from the classification.

START AREA OPENING GRID: 8:30 a.m.

MAXIMUM RACE TIME: 13:30.

TIMING SERVICE: the timing service will be provided by ACSI. Every riders may use a one-day chip valid only for this event.

The Bike Marathon for Haiti provides a unique path, which develops between the Friuli hills of the municipalities of Attimis, Nimis and Povoletto.
For reasons of force majeure at any time the race director, in agreement with the president of the jury, can change the race route then preparing the necessary reports.

RACE CARAVAN: Police and race organization vehicles will precede and escort the participants on both race routes. Only vehicles of the organization with the appropriate marking (such as lead vehicles, jury, race director and broom wagon) are authorized to be on the course.

ASSISTANCE DURING THE RACE: During the event, a suitable number of mechanical and medical assistance vehicles, both fixed and mobile, will be present along the routes. Assistance from private follow vehicles is not allowed, at risk of disqualification of the riders assisted

RULES OF THE ROAD: The roads are open to traffic during the event, and thus it is absolutely obligatory to follow the rules of the road. Charges will be pressed against any unregistered riders who join the event and cause damage or accidents.

INDIVIDUAL CHECKPOINTS: Checkpoints will be located at the start, at the finish, and at various points along both courses. The race jury and authorized staff will manage the checkpoints. Anyone who starts early or misses the check at the start will be excluded from the classification.

FEED ZONES: Along the routes, feed zones (complete and/or hydration only) will be provided for riders wearing race numbers. 

CLASSIFICATIONS: Finishers will be classified overall, by category, and by team based on number of participants. Any request to correct the results must be made before may 20, at the mail adddress info@helphaiti.it

INDIVIDUAL AWARDS:
the first absolute shirt “Bike Marathon for Haiti.”
from 1st to 5th of each category.

AWARDS SOCIETY ‘:
The absolute first 5 companies for best results

TRASH: Anyone seen throwing trash on the road will be reported to the race jury and excluded from the final classification. All participants are asked to maintain respectful behavior in the start area and throughout the event.

CLAIMS: Any claims must be presented to the jury within the required time limit and accompanied by the fee specified in the FCI rules.

TERMS OF PARTICIPATION:  I confirm that I have read the rules of the event and will respect them; that I will be at least 18 years of age by the day of the event; and that I have registered voluntarily, declaring that I am physically healthy and adequately fit, and in the possession of a valid medical certification. I authorize the organizing committee to use photographs, tapes, videos and any materials related to my participation for any legitimate use, without compensation. The organizing committee reserves the right to reject any undesirable entries.

PRIVACY POLICY CONSENT:
I authorize the Corsa per Haiti e Asd Chiarcosso – Help Haitil, both headquartered at Piazza della Chiesa 4, 33037 Pasian di Prato (UD), Italy, to process my personal information in accordance with Legislative Decree 196/03, for the purposes of administration and accounting, including when disclosed to third parties, and communications related to the specific activity. 

This regulation will be subject to variations.
